Stopped by this establishment on a recent business trip. Not a big Irish beer fan but the place looked interesting. The waitress went through the draft beer list and I picked a Sam Adams Lager. When it came it had a vinegar taste and no carbonation. When I brought the problem to the waitress' attention she said that it was Sam Adams Summer (I guess in her mind all Sam Adams beers are the same). I told her that it was undrinkable and that I wanted to order something else. She brought me a Harp and made a comment that I better be sure that I knew what I wanted in the future. Don't waste your time here...go 2 miles up the road and go to a true beer establishment with a friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff, the Taphouse at Ghent (931 W 21st).

Scott, the "doorman" greets you (and checks ID's) with a smile. From there on Goody, the owner and her staff do their utmost to maximize your enjoyment during your stay. The live shows are some of the best, from solo baladeers to musical groups, you will usually be glad you stopped in.

Great Little Pub!!!! Had some of the best time in there. Yes the service has somthing to be desired if you are not a regular. I've been all over the world and this Pub is the best time. Also realy hard to get kicked out of.

Sad to say that they wouldn't allow me in with my daughter for dinner, claiming she had to be 21. I don't get it, all the other places on Granby had no problem. If it was solely a bar, I could understand, but there were tables and booths.

Guterind (Goody) the owner is often thought to be cold at first, but once you come in a few times, you are a regular...Mo's beats some of the best pubs I've been to in NYC & abroad.

CHARLTON PHANEUF IS ONE OF THE BEST SOLO ACOUSTIC PERFORMERS I'VE EVER SEEN LIVE @ MO & O'MALLEY'S (ONE OF THE BEST EVER FOR THAT MATTER)...LAST TIME I WAS THERE HE WAS PLAYING WITH CHARLIE AUSTIN!!!....CAN'T WAIT TO SEE CHARLTON AND CHARLIE AGAIN!!!!

Martin Marron is the best Irish singer that I've found from Boston to Savannah. Without a doubt the best bar on the east coast on Wednesday nights (if you want good music and a fun crowd). Much better than Jack Quinn's down the road, which is a much more commercialized bar (not a pub).

The barkeeps were asses. It was a bother for them to get us another round. All they did was bitch. Do yourself a favor and walk the two blocks to Jack Quinns!
